Europe is at a key phase of development.
Right now, there is much happening on the European and international front in relation to digital health. New strategic and financial discussions are underway regarding future directions for the whole of the European Union (EU). Many initiatives, together with the World Health Organization’s Europe office, include a wider European overview.
Health, and especially digital health, have become priority topics for many policy-makers and many Europeans.
EHTEL is well placed, in the heart of Europe, to bring together the voices of European stakeholder groups and provide concrete insights into European policy.
EHTEL and its members are keen to get active, with other stakeholders, in key priority activities that will positively influence the direction of travel on European digital health and European data.
In recent times, EHTEL has joined with these four alliances, partnerships, and platforms to raise the flag on European health, European digital health, and European health data:
EHTEL has expanded its role on European policy directions, especially on digital transformation. It is working ever more closely with the various European institutions on the policies that they are developing.
Core among new directions is the European Health Data Space. EHTEL has published a briefing paper and working papers, and is involved in several pertinent projects.
