EHTEL member, SORESA (So.Re.Sa. S.p.A.), is working hard to deal with the COVID-19 emergency.
SORESA and the Campania Region of Italy have cooperated to digitalise healthcare in Campania. The result was a digital platform called SINFONIA.
Then the COVID emergency struck. As a result, SINFONIA has been enriched with an information technology (IT) platform specialised in monitoring the emergency. The new platform groups together citizens, doctors, epidemiologists, prevention services, and laboratories.
The new APP called e-Covid SINFONIA is of real service to citizens. It enables citizens to access the results of swabs and serological tests in real time and to send reports to their personal doctor. Integrated with the COVID patients' surveillance platform, the APP facilitates a structured monitoring of suspected COVID and COVID-positive patients.
These two applications provide an interface with the regional platform for COVID test tracking. This is another platform available to swab providers and public and private laboratories. The timely recording of all tests or swabs executed in the region permits a reliable, ordered, and complete collection of data. This means that prevention departments and the Campania region can monitor promptly the evolution of the health emergency.

Another module has been developed recently. It is the management platform of the vaccination plan of Campania, which facilitates the planning and registration of vaccines: “e-Covid Vaccination”. The platform is linked with the portals related to progress on vaccination of Campania citizens. It is in complete adherence with Campania's citizen vaccination campaign.
