EHTEL is encouraging its members, and the digital health community, to learn from the Digital Maturity Model Tool (DMAT), developed by the Laurel project. The tool is a useful mechanism for incorporating societal impact and digital maturity into planning, service delivery, and innovation processes whenever work is taking place on integrated long-term care (I-LTC).

Advancing equitable access to digital health services in Europe

Ensuring equitable access to care for marginalized groups remains one of the most pressing challenges for health systems across Europe. In line with EHTEL’s commitment to digital transformation, health data, and integrated care, the EQUICARES project explores innovative approaches to address healthcare inequalities. Using and adapting tools such as the Levesque Framework, EQUICARES supports community-based co-creation of scalable solutions, whether digitally-enabled or not, and the development of policy recommendations.

Sorsix’s Success: Company Earns Highest Industry Label for EHDS Interoperability

Sorsix successfully completed testing at the IHE-Europe Connectathon Week which took place in June in Vienna, Austria. The firm demonstrated full support for the new xShare Yellow Button standard under the European Health Data Space (EHDS), which earned it considerable success. Sorsix attained the Silver Industry Label — the highest certification level awarded at the event. The award positions Sorsix’s flagship product Pinga® as a future-proof solution for EU-wide digital health interoperability.
